Stretch Forming
ERIE continues to design and manufacture products of the former L&F Industries, such as the Sheridan Gray and Hufford lines of stretch forming machines. Over the past sixty years, L&F has designed and built the finest extrusion and sheet stretch forming machines for the aerospace/aircraft, light rail/ transit car, architectural and elevator/escalator industries for many years. These machines are designed to stretch virtually all metals, including aluminum, steel, stainless steel and titanium.
- Extrusion Stretch Wrap : Hufford swing arm machines – capacities to 300 tons
- Sheet Stretch: Sheridan-Gray machines, both longitudinal and transverse, rigid and curving jaws – capacities to 3000 tons
